Any gender guesses?
almost 9 weeks old
I've been saying male since hatch. (Stumpy wings that 1st week and slower feather growth) Color of face looks red and there are little wattles
BUT there's almost no comb height and the wattles haven't grown any in the past 4 weeks. He's pretty small in size.

I want some opinions. Can I still call him my SLO cockerel?

This is a tough one because the wattles and comb are pretty red but there isn’t much comb to speak of…I’d guess that you will need to wait longer! English Orps mature very slowly!

That's a pullet I think. I've been wrong before but I say girl.

Hi everyone! I’ve just bought my first pair of gold laced Orpingtons, they’re still quite young but I think they’re looking good, what do you think?
You can’t really appreciate it but they are absolutely humongous.
