The IMPORTED ENGLISH Orpington Thread

I spoke to our zoo today - they are going to find out from their "aviary collector" where they get them from. I emailed them last night & they called me today - NICE!!! I'm so excited, I can hardly wait!!!

Kelly I am looking forward to hearing too. Maybe you can get some

I have my fingers crossed! I wish I had taken pictures of them that I could share here......Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr! I had my camera, but had to keep my eye on my neice - I'm rather fond of her!

I would love to see them. If they have a Cock bird and hens you might suggest they could make a little money for the zoo by selling some chicks or eggs.

Your welcome Nava, did you see the cockerel on the previous page I just posted. He is related to Hoss. Take a look at him. He is just now 7 months old.

That pic on the Tampa zoo page is a nice color. doesn't look like a imported English tail on him though. Need a bigger pic. It could be a poor shot of him.

I hope so Nava but you just don't know till they get grown. Even if they are not show birds does not mean they won't produce a show bird. I hatch lots of chicks but only pick certain ones for showing. That is the way of it in every breed.

I wont' be showing Chester but he has great qualities I want to breed into my flock. Can't wait to get chicks from him and a few choice hens
