I agree. sorry I couldn't get on last nite. Sorry about you bird Rennie. My Electricity went off at 7:43 last evening and at 10:30 I went on to bed praying for the eggs in my incubators. I woke up at a little after 12 am and it was back on. When I had called at 10 they said it could be a few more hours cause they had a pole down and they were having to get one to put back up. It was down below my house. We got out and road down the road and saw a large crew working. Maybe everything will be okay. At least it was warm here. I think it was 75 when I laid down. Monday will tell the tail when I have a hatch to come off.

Holy Cow...the stories this morning on this thread had everything...action, drama, heartbreak...I'm exhausted from reading about it!
Seriously...so sorry about your roo Rennie...that is a shame. Jeremy...your Neville is a spunky one and he deserves every treat you give him!
Bama I truly hope your eggs hatch fine regardless of the power outage....I would have been crying while I was laying in bed...and praying too like you did!

Our power comes from over the mountain and through the woods. It seems we loose power everytime the wind blows... So I have a power pack.... computer back up battery and 2 generators... Bama... maybe it is time for you to look into getting a small genny They are not that hard to run. I hook up and start all of ours myself. It sure gives peace of mind I tell you...
