Hello everyone, Hope all the Mothers had a great day. I just got home from a trip at 11:40 last nite. I quickly ran and got eggs out of big bator and put in hatcher. Two already hatched the rest looked to be pipping. all have hatched this morning except one egg that hasn't pipped. Winding down the bator. One more hatch for me and the last for someone else. I am done. Whoo hoo. I have more chicks than I planned.

. So done for the season. Now back to the bathroom remodel. Gotta get this jobs done.

Julie, I'm right there with you. I've hatched like 4,000 Ameraucana chicks this year and I am ready to unplug the bators. I've got one hatch left, set to hatch this Thursday and then I'm finished until after the summertime.

Or I'll be finished until Neville decides to start breeding his girls, then the incubators will be brought back to life!

He will grow up before you know it. How old is he now? About 6 months? Charlie never started breeding until he was over 8 months old. I want to see his pics all grown up.

OH She's so happy...

Oh she was definitely happy!.... And immediately dragged me to the oat barn (it was spring show so all livestock were there) and spent her money on a SQ Nigerian dwarf doeling. At least she was happy to spend her money on it and not expect me too*** sigh*** heehee. "bunny" is so cute!

Speaking of goats this is what my DH came home with Friday. Mama is pygmy/milk goat (I see making soap in my future

) and kids are both does and 1/2 boar.

I had a whole mess of chicks hatch on Friday and Saturday - supposed to have hatched on Sunday so I could ship them. Sooooo, had to set a bunch more eggs. Now I have another big glob of chicks that I really do NOT need or have a place for. I did get lucky and found a home for the 5 cockerels - so that is a relief.

Pepsnick - I'm sure that somebody will have some chicks.

Who's done hatching??? Hatched these on Mother's Day... surely there are a few fine orpingtons in there. The hens are from Bama Chicken and the roo is just HUGE blue guy from Tater's Chickens.
