The IMPORTED ENGLISH Orpington Thread

Evening everyone! I am finally going to start narrowing down some of my growing chicks from my blacks. I already see a few that look like they will be nice enough to finish growing out to show this fall. For me 19 massive juvi's is just tooo much at one time.

I have some really nice looking cockerels in the group. If anyone is interested please send me a pm. I would hate to see any of them end up in Freezer Camp.

This is the father to the chicks

Looking for a blue 100% English cockerel, breeder quality. Anyone have extras? Black or splash okay too, in order of preference.

LMAO How funny is THAT!!! I just hit post.

Some differences are size, width, feather quality, tail angle, back angle, fluff, etc., but the easiest way to tell the difference is to look at the pictures - it's very obvious, and pictures are worth 1000 words.

Tuff- I got baby goats too!! 2 little doelings. Nigerian dwarf, so cute!

Cuckoo - if you'll compare pics of an american standard orp and an English one. You'll see the difference. Many are bigger in size, fluffier, Poitier, and look they are wearing feather skirts.
