Joy, I'm glad to see you online!

I sent your package out yesterday, the confirmation receipt said it should be to you by the 19th at the latest.

ETA: BTW, my broody jumped the nest yesterday and now wants nothing to do with the eggs I put under her.

Hi Jeremy !! I'll keep an eye out for that package !! I'm really looking forward to it. Did you finish it? Sorry to hear about your broody abandoning ship !!

I'm going to TRY to get some pictures of the GL orps this afternoon and post. These are the strangest looking chickens I've ever seen ! I figure it is because I've seen nothing but Blue, BLack, and Splash for 3+ years !!

Roger - that is the cutest chick !! I'm not going to guess on male/female. The picture you sent me of it last week, I definitely thought "pullet." With this picture, the tail is leading me towards cockerel. Post another picture in a week and let's see.

English orps generally have more fluff than the American orps do....and are often times bigger. Since Orps were developed by an Englishman in England I guess I just like them better looking like the English standard. I've had both and they're all sweet birds.

She's good. Haven't talked to her today. Keeping a positive attitude. 1 ft of water in yesterday with expected crest on 15th that will put about 2.5 ft total in house. Whole situation just.... Well it sucks. For all involved. But what do you do? Thanks for askin!! E veryones support has been great and so appreciated!

A positive attitude in times like that is sometimes hard to come by. I am glad you all have that. Sometimes life sucks, but it helps us appreciate the good times more. Sending prayers for you, your family, her home, and all of those suffering from the flooding.
