Thanks everyone. It is great when It all falls into place. I have a miracle small garden this year. It has really been producing too. I too want to add some berry bushes and more garden. Just have to be able to stay here and work on it.

Julie, you're going to have to put a small bed over in the corner of that bathroom for me, 'cause I'm moving in! Your bathroom looks better than my entire house!

Granted, it's a fixer... but that bathroom is beautiful. I really, really like the wainscoating. That's a touch we plan on adding here during renovation.

I took a few pictures today, nobody wanted to hold still so they're all a bit blurry.

Neville in all his rooish glory, he's around 6 months old now and acting like it. His hormones are raging and he pounces on everything in sight.

Alice was the only girl who stopped moving long enough for me to get a somewhat decent shot.

I'll try again tomorrow morning when I let them all out for some better pictures, they were all hyper tonight.

Hen.. lol I see you have been busy too

Never knew one could make jelly from honeysuckle or dandylions. Yes we have 3 crab apple trees and several kinds of blue berry bushes, 3 kinds of apples, 2 kinds of pears, 2 kinds of plums, 2 kinds of strawberries, 3 kinds of black berries, 1 golden rasberry, 2 kinds of rhubarb and 3 kinds of grapes.

Jeremy... i sure hope the splash babies I have hatched this yr look as nice as Neville..

Very pretty birds

Wow, jeremy I can't believe how much Neville has grown. He looks to be wide boy. I look forward to seeing him a 1 yr and 18 months. You should have some awesome Orps from your cross of lines.
You can't imagine how awful that bathroom has looked for years. I have lived here 8 yrs with just a piece of carpet cut to cover the floor, no tub and shower that is the same shower that was like a cave. We tore out the wall. No door on the bathroom and no door or the walk in closet. Good bones though. I am so thankful. Maybe by fall we can start on the bedroom and take out two of the five windows and change the carpet to hardwood. Since we bought this place we do a major project yearly. We have replaced the roof, Replaced Central heat and air, finished the siding on the house cut about 15 large trees, put shutters on windows, built porch railing for huge front porch, replaced pump in pool, replaced vanity in other bathroom, Sheetrocked a bedroom Changed lighting in diningroom and Living room, built and roofed a porch that had fallen down on storage house/old original house to property. I could go on and on. We love living here though so can't complain. Didn't cost that much to buy and a great place to entertain friends and family. Grandkids love it. I want to have time to stay home and develop more flowers beds on the side of the yard and finish landscaping the front next to the porch.

And all that doesn't include the chicken pens that we have built.
BTW love the blue girls too.

No, pre orders can get too messy. I will however let you know when I have chicks available, most likely it will be in July after I hatch some babies for myself.
smile.png

I'm taking a hatching break right now, I've had chicks in the house since February and I finally just got the last age group outside on the ground, so it's nice to have some quiet time with out the "peep peep peep" coming from the laundry room.

only place you can get gold laced is from Greenfire, that I am aware of. they are extremely rare. I am sure others will have them available next year but I am sure they will still be pricey....
