My Splash rooster from Joy, handsome devil he is going to be. Going to be nice type to put on some Black hens.

Cheryl, # 1 maybe a pullet, just not positive yet, # 2 is a pullet. #3 and #4 look cockerel. The pullets I have hatched out from Julies English some have had white tipped feathers and they always end up looking nicely laced.

He looks good Sandy. HOw is his comb? Can't see it from the angles in the photos. How old is he in these photos? I also have not yet been able to see hte picture of Sir Walter Raleigh

Most of my orps have white wing tips when they hatch and that does grow out. I have not had any with as much white on their wings as the one Cheryl has....Julie mentioned maybe a bit of a mottled gene somehere? which would be pretty cool, actually. Has anybody else had a baby have that much white on wings before?

(except for #1 - we're all in agreement that nobody knows what he/she is yet). I think #2 is a cockerel and #3 and #4 are pullets.

Sandy love the Splash Cockerel. I hope my Splash turns out that good. I do have giant Blue Hoss as my DH named him. I love his color and he will soon be six months old. He has been a little leggy but otherwise typey and is now beginning to lose some of the leggy look. He is still growing. Has'nt thought about the pullets yet. Not fluttering or anything. Comb not completely red either. you really have to keep some of these a little longer. Sandy I could see your nice Black boy but would love to see a side veiw of him He looks really good.
