The IMPORTED ENGLISH Orpington Thread

I drove three hours to pick up this little chick on Friday - 75% english. There were three to choose from, and the other two were lighter with nice cream colored markings on their faces, like little bandits!

I went for the darkest one - she seemed the most friendly. Wish I could have taken them all!!



The breeder thought they were five weeks old, but I'm thinking more like three. What do you guys think?

Looks like she'll have good lacing. Not always a great idea to just get one chick though, I hope you have company of similar age to quarantine her with.

Thanks - she looked like she had the most contrast to her feathers. I also got a pair of salmon faverolles that were being brooded together with the baby orps. They are probably a week or two older than her, but they are buddies and I haven't seen any aggression among the three.
 
The pics of the Chocolate above is Bitey Joe. The pics here are of Cocoa. I know Cocoa is a girl but, I put pics of her here for comparison. Sorry, I know the pics aren't great but, these guys don't sit still at all. :0)
