Fortunately for me...I have irrigation that I don't have to pay "per usage". that is the only reason I do this. I don't use off the well (good way to burn up a pump). And I think spraying tummies is hilarious...shows what a dedicated bird lover you are....love it.

POCKINPAINTS- thanks so much for the hen she is all setteled in to her quarentine pen she is verry vocal and supper sweet she also has laid 2 eggs already

on the blue laced gold i have a young trio that i got from MARC that a partner of mine has and another partner has the origanal breed quad that marc imported last year one blue laced gold roo one gold laced hen and two splash laced gold here are a few pic of them sorry the pic are a lettel blury he email them to me




the chicks from this breeding goup have show exalant lacing and color so if you whant to get some eggs im shure it would help with your progect

18 months - okay. I was thinking right around a year. I know they need to grow out to really see their potential. I have the space available - on my parent's place next to me - 2 acres. I guess I will be building some grow out pens now won't I? LOL. I have the latest addition book of standards - but it is the APA - is their a separate book just for Orps that you would recommend? thank you so much for your time and help and advice.

I would recommend you contact Bama on here... and ask her. She is much more knowledgeable about the showing than I am And she is a sweety too... She will help you

Would you please send some of that here? More storms this afternoon..then very hot and muggy.Now storms coming again. I can't see out the windows due to the humidity, and the Orps are standing with their butts to the fans.
