Julie, that hen bottom right is everything im dreaming about..Lord did bless you with them..hope someday he blesses me with a couple..so far , if there were a championship for hatching roosters..you would see my name up in lights..

Nothing like a bunch of new babies.

Aveca I think I would take the Championship on Hatching the most Roosters. Of course I am happy to say the last few that were hen hatched were all pairs

Could someone explain this: "English black Orpington day old chicks for sale. They carry the blue gene from their mother." This was taken off of a CL ad. If it is anyone on here, I'm just confused as to what it means.
 
Sounds like a Black chick hatched from a blue mother. All Orps are English Orps. All are not English Orps from England
 
They didn't have a price listed and I only know of one other person in MD that has English orps.

Actually, they do have a price. $3 a chick.
