I've had to stop watching the news. Especially politically themed channels. Not good for the ticker. I will pray for the child and his family. So, so, sad.

Nellie, I think crime in general is on the rise. If the economy doesn't get better, I think it will continue to get worse. I'm so glad they didn't get near your birds!

Would someone please PM me if they have a trick for separating eggs in the hatcher. I need to keep them separate until I can band them by p/k breeding . But the way they just pop out and jump and climb up on the other eggs in the carton, and each other, I don't think what I have will work (I bought the coated wire suet feeders). I have a GQF styrofoam little desktop model. Thanks.

I just had my first Partridge Orp chicks hatch during the day today

That is wonderful Dee..I saw a while ago somone had little cages made in the hatcher..it worked perfect everybody in thier perspective places..If I remember right it was Nellie..you could ask her..

Thank you. Do you put an egg carton in the bag, or allow them to hatch on their sides like they would naturally?
