Very nice splash Nava. Your boy is so typey. I don't blame you for spreading his genes around. I am interested to see what splash over black will produced compared with the Black over splash.
I can get on every once in awhile. My DSL line has been up and down since that rain storm last week. I took some pics that are so cute and everytime I get online and then try to go from one site to the next I loose connection again.

This is Sweetie, Dee. She and I am saying She. Acts like a girl here at 7 days old but if a cockerel I can call him Sweetie too.

Nellie I just hope the splash looks decent growing up. It is a trial hatch.

This boy is way to dark. His wing feathers are nearly black and he looked black when he hatched. He will be a cull for sure. His wings hang a bit low too

I figured I'd go ahead and post a progression of Winston too. I have refrained from posting any pictures of Winston lately because he is in a molt and looks terrible. He has two lone tail feathers flapping in the breeze. I'll get some recent photos of him when he finishes molting.

This helps so much, I will know somewhat of what to look for- and hopefully be able to recognize the stages- what a good idea to document like that- I have always been so random about my picture taking!

I know this is an older post but I have to agree I"m just learning about these guys and this really helps. I have a blue boy That I was wondering about and now I can compare his progress with Winston.
