YaYa! I have some eggs in my incubator from this guy and one of my white hens. Test hatch. I'll let you know what I get, even though I'm not sure what I really want. Recessive or dominant white....hmmmm. Not sure which would be better. Simply just wanna know which it is.

You know they say "good things come to those who wait" This is a lighter, just to show the size of these eggs, gona be BIGGGGG chicks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am getting the biggest eggs this year I have ever got !!! & they are just starting up, For those who ordered eggs from me, they are coming, just bare with me, It will be worth the wait. You just cant help but love these birds !!!!!!!!!!!

Boy Roger..I didnt think they could get any bigger!! last year you sent me some softballs..I thought not sure if they are going to fit in the egg turner..might not fit in the goose egg turner either LOL!! Holy crow those are spectacular...especially for young birds..patience is a virtue..and so worth the wait..

I know my patients are running low on my 4 girls. They have been red in the face for months and still nothing. They have to be getting close to 10-12 months old by now. Not that I really know... What age do they start showing wattles and a bit of color? I'd love to try to figure out how old these girls really are!

I know it's not girls, but I have a roo who is 9 months now and showing NO roo behavior signs at all. FRUSTRATING. We also had several of our birds not lay until a few weeks ago because of the winter even though they hit 6 months back in October...

I have a roo who looks like he is getting the job done, but no fertile eggs yet.

I have trimmed my jubilee roo also hoping for some fertile eggs.

I'm not going to have any hair left.

My Blue Girls have really kicked up the egg size in the last few days too The egg on the right from saturday and the egg in the left from today. If i hatched the small egg would the chick be smaller too?

Hey Roger, Nice egg. I have noticed since we had a long molt the eggs are larger. I also noticed the longer it has taken for one of the pullets to start laying the bigger the egg to start with. No pullet size eggs from them.
I have one black hen I hatched over a year ago and she layed some big brown eggs for about a month and she hasnt' layed another. This has been a puzzle to me since I have n't had that happen before. Can't decide if she has a problem and i need to cull her or if she just doesn't like the fellow I have her in with.
They funny about who you mate them with. I had one blue hen who didn't like the boy she was in with and she wouldn't get off the roost. She was loosing weight and I had to move her to another pen with some other hens no boy and she blossomed right out an started laying again..
