Laugh all you want. Something is blooming here, along with the mold from all the rain, that has my eyes almost swollen shut. Wait til you're 66, and grab the wrong glasses because you couldn't see the right ones. Very frustrating. Roger has such nice birds, and takes great care of them, that I couldn't ( and shouldn't) believe my eyes.

people like that are jerks... Ebay should step up and do something about it, in the meantime, maybe if you asked in the ask a seller a question part at the bottom of the auction, why are you using pictures of my birds in your auction?? people might see it. guess your going to have to watermark your pictures

You all kill me sometimes !! With all the funny jokes, Irene I kept looking & wondering what you were talking about on the rolls of uncovered skin on that pullet & then I saw where you finely said it was my fingers, My eyes are bad to & getting worse, its OK I understand but I knew it was my fingers, I guess its pick on the Dragonlady day today. Glad to be back.

Hi, I'm new to this thread and to English Orps. I have 2 Buff Pullets about 16 weeks of age. Their faces are starting to redden. Does this seem too soon? Is it the same indicator of maturity as with standard hens? Neither is squatting yet but I was surprised to see them coloring so early. Any thoughts on this?

Also, I have 3 chicks blue and buff cross about 3 weeks old. At what age can I start playing the roo/pullet guessing game? Thank you for any help!
This is a good question. I also have an English Black Orp LF, 16 weeks old on Thursday, a very big girl, and her face, comb, and wattles, are turning red, red, red. I thought she'd have another month at the very least before laying. My other three girls are still quite a light pink. Thoughts from the experts? My birds are Marc Sacre line if that helps.

I am VERY upset. Someone on EBay is selling using Max's picture! Please do not bid thinking they are from my flock! Not sure how to let anyone know, but please don't think they are mine,
