I have managed to hatch a few white splashes... They are white feathered, blue legged, red combs.

I went back to find this because I've been thinking, and, it would be cool to breed these blue legged whites to regular whites to try and dilute the yellow tint to more of a super light grey

Hello all you Orp experts!  Can someone aswer this for me.....What would I get if I breed a Lemon Cuckoo to a Lav hen or BBS hen?  What bout a Lemon Cuckoo hen to a Lav roo?  Thanks!  Anybody in the western NC area?

I just returned from the WI International show. There were 2300 entries and a good turn out. It was so busy, crowded and I am so glad to be home. I am looking forward to my bed tonight.

I had a bird on Champion Row and that is pretty exciting. This was the very first time my DH was with and witnessed that type of excitement and the presentation of awards and money. I was just s excited for him as any thing. I can almost guarantee my building will get done faster now. I think he wanted to walk around with ribbons flutter in the breeze out of his pockets.


He was in full moult and still placed BV. The judge loved his bone structure and attitude.






I will not bore the thread with my other birds and pictures. I just wanted to post Champion Row girls and my Orp..It was a great show.

I believe it was explained to me that you will need to cross this one over with a white carrying the silver gene . There are certainly more qualified folks on here than me that could explain it to you better ") Good luck ")

Thought I would post some updated photos of my pullets. I posted photos of them when they were younger. Now they are between 5-7 months.
