Here are 2 girls sired by 2 different English Orp cock birds. The pullet on the left is 8 months old, sired by Monty. The pullet on the right is 5 months old, and sired by Max, Monty's brother, who is more extreme in type. They are both out of SOP hens, and both showing a bit of "rooster wear".

Hatching my first chicks from my 100% English..............
Some of you may remember my disappointment with the Blue Roo cockerel I purchased.
You gave me education and encouragement about him....He is just coming out of his first molt
and has calmed down.no longer tearing up the hens...I'll post a pic when he looks a little better.
He has no tail feathers right now.
So far I have 1 blue and 2 blacks hatched.......It will be such fun to see how they grow out.
Feel like one lucky lady to own such a beautiful breed..................
