The IMPORTED ENGLISH Orpington Thread

As you can see he changed a lot and is only know fully grown, I need to take another photo.

Hi there everybody. Looking for some more insight on Crele Orpingtons, I've gathered a bit more information about my friend's birds.

The images of the offspring I posted previously came from my friend's other pair, as I understand it. The pair consists of the brother of the male I previously posted pictures of, and a female that has been described as "similar to a New Hamshire Red". I've also been told that the breeder they acquired them from was not in fact the breeder herself, but the divorced (or bereaved maybe??) husband of the breeder - who reportedly admitted he didnt know much about them.

Here's what I know: There are two pairs that consist of the nice Crele (appearing) males, and some kind of New Hampshire-esque hens. One belongs to my friend, the other to a local breeder we have been coordinating with. My friend also owns a second pair, the male I previously posted images of, and a nice Crele (appearing) female. Today, we also received a shipment of Crele chicks from The Fancy Chick, someday olds and some 3 week olds.

My friend is currently deciding whether he wants to keep the Crele pair, because the offspring seem to be growing out not quite Crele - some are very buff colored indeed. However, when we recieved the Fancy Chick Creles today, we noted a lot of similarities (namely the huge variance in colors) and, according to my friend, this is exactly how the CrelexCrele chicks looked at the same ages. Here are some recent pics of the CrelexCrele offspring, some around 5 weeks and some around 7. (There are some Seramas in the brooder too, obviously much tinier than everybody else). What do you guys think - pure parents or maybe not? It sounds like both my friend and the local breeder will be selling off the Crelex"New Hamshire" pairs (I've in fact been offered one pair, as backyard dual purpose breeders) but because they seem to be throwing something so similar to Crele, we are unsure of whether or not the third CrelexCrele pair are pure.

I added a few closer shots of two of the more promising Creles, and one who looks nearly Partridge (I heard they will sometimes throw these?)

Again, here's mom and dad (looks like I can't find my full bodied pic of mom, so here's her head anyways):

And here's the day old Fancy Chick babies (and one stray Lavender Amerauacana hiding in the back there):

Here's some pics of my 4 Isabel/Crele Orpingtons. They are only about a month old but are getting huge! I have 4 others but they are still small yet. I think I have 2 pullets & 2 cockerels in this group. What do y'all think? Sorry for the terrible pics. :/

Alright I have 4 orpingtons. 2 are supposed to be lemon cuckoos one is a clear mystery to me and the other is supposed to be a gold laced. They are 3 weeks old so it may be too hard to tell what exactly they will grow up to be but any input on their colors is much appreciated.
