Hey Joy, I swear when I'm gone a few days and come back to check this thread, I'm so behind that by the time I get to slobber over all the pics and read everything I'm so tuckered out that I drop my cane and bend over to pick it up and just stay there the rest of the evening trying to stand back up. A young lad like me, ha. I will try to get pics this week. Thurston is living it up with his ladies. You know I hadn't thought of it but Mark asked me why he never crows and I realized that I have never seen or heard him crow. I told Mark he doesn't have to crow. He has everything he wants and noone can get to him to challenge his kingdom. You have told me a dozen times when he hatched but guess what, I don't remember. Mark also noticed that his upper beak has split like a finger nail does. It doesn't seem to bother him at all. In my 150 years of raising chickens, I've never seen one split. It's not crooked or anything like that. Gee, it sounds like I'm not aware of anything til someone else notices it. Won't tell anymore stories on myself. Tell Dwain that I'll be at the chicken ranch this evening after my eye appointment.
