Hi, I'm loving seeing the orpingtons up here

I am from the other side of the pond in little 'ol England and thought you might like to see my "English" Gold Lace Orpingtons.

These are the mums and Pa of the eggs in my incubator at this very moment. (Set them this morning)

Just though you guys might like to see them

Beautiful color Sparky, are they Bantams? Welcome to this thread. Do you have any other colors of Orpingtons?

I'm so far behind !! I met with Mary (FourPawz) yesterday to deliver her some fluffy butts and had a nice visit. THen did some shopping and got home later than expected and had to play catch-up with work. Mary was a delight to meet - just wish we could have had more time. And Mary- My husband LOVED the little "playpen" and I'd like to get 2 or 3 more - so next time you want to head to Rocky Mount for a meet, let me know - I want to get some more of those. You should post some pictures on here of them - I think a lot of people would really like them.

Beth - the pictures of your Julie babies are adorable !! I love those big chests. And I see a light blue one there that looks like will be just lovely.

Kathy - Love the dust bath picture !! Kathy and her bath puts me in mind of that song "Oooh oooh that smell. Can't you smell that smell" HAHAHA

Glad that Hoss has found a good home. I think he is from Minerva and Winston, right Julie? That pairing has made some beautiful babies.

Kassandra - Nice pictures - I think Saphira is a very pretty girl.

Julie - Chester - *sigh* He looks really good. I think he is a bit lighter than Winston? Can't wait to see what he is going to produce for you.

Sparkly - WELCOME !! It's nice to have you join us. I love your GL. I'm hoping to get some of those sometime in May. Beautiful birds. Please join in here - we love having folks from "across the pond" join us.

Julie - I'm making soap tomorrow night. Hubby is working late, so I'm going to crank up Loreena McKennitt, cook me some chamomile, bask in the wonderful scents in the house, and enjoy my soap-making ritual. What are you making today? I'm going to make chamomile, Dragonsblood and Moroccan Fig.

P.S. If I missed anybody, I apologize !!

Julie - I took a bunch of pictures of the chicks last night, but they didn't turn out well. I'm going to try to take some today while it is sunny out and better lighting in the house. I'll post them later.
