Hey Beth - I can't believe that Skoche is all grown up now with babies of her own. Is she still a sweet girl? She is still my favorite chick that I"ve ever hatched - she was so, so sweet.

Love the pictures - thanks for posting !!

I have 2 dozen eggs, plus a couple of extra that I can ship on Monday if anybody wants them. PM me or I'm going to boil them and feed them back to the chickens

Well judging is over on the English class at state fair spring show. We win best open English and best junior English with our buff orps and saphira got reserve breed. This is about a class of maybe 20 birds so we are pumped!!

I'm too much of a baby to show my birds, I'm paranoid and absolutely terrified about them potentially catching diseases. If I could get over that I might show my girl Alice.

I know they aren't English but have to report to my buddies at the show my daughter won champ English, champ large fowl, and reserve champ of show with her buff orp pullet and best bantam duck, best duck, and champ waterfowl with a white call covk bird. Then with my buff orp hen I won same awards. Due to donations made by P. Allen Smith's heritage poultry conservancy and normal fair jackpots between the 2 of us we won somewhere around $500!! What a day!!
