Okay, what is BGL? Black gold laced? Hmmm, I'm definitely not anywhere close to an expert with genetics, but how many generations would it take to produce some GL?

Tricia - if you want to have a bunch of chicks, I'll try and hatch some and see what we come up with. Maybe work on a GL project together? LOL.

sorry I meant Blue Gold laced, was just being lazy. I think it might take 2 generations to get back some GL.

Jeremy, I wouldn't be hard to convince that splash over blue throws a lot lighter shade of blue than blue over black. My girls are really dark blue.
