The IMPORTED ENGLISH Orpington Thread

aww ... look at the green grass.. lol and all those lovely birds..There are times when I miss living down south just don't miss Florida.. lol Yesterday was check leg band day... good thing because the babies I got from Joy have grown so much they needed bigger ones. The boys are wearing size "16" of the plastic open ring expandable type. They have plenty of room now.. shouldn't have to ever replace them again.

I need to take more pictures too.

OH and Merry Christmas to everyone!

A few pictures of my big Black Orp Thelma, who is usually very hard to get a good shot of and my favorite Blue hen Alice, she's just finishing her molt and hasn't completely "fluffed" up yet.

A few of the juvies I have growing out.

The Blues seem to already have pretty distinct lacing, as they age I expect it to turn out quite nicely.

Thelma is beautiful and the lacing on you blues is fab. That splash pullet has great type. She is going to look really good.

I absolutely LOVE that little Splash, I've got two pullets at home and they're both little butterballs already. The lighter pullet with less color is named Emma and the darker girl, who I'm hoping takes after her daddy with how colorful she looks is named Kate.
