Can you teach mine to pose like that so I can take photos?

Hi Jeremy, very rude of me not to introduce myself! yes I am Bob Follows, the buff laced are as you say a very beautiful colour regardless of what name they go under and are very easy to produce, not so the blue laced they are originally produced from which are even more stunning when the mahogany base colour and the sky blue lacing are of the correct shade, I've strived for many years now to produce the perfect colour and feather type in this variety, of all the many birds i've hatched and reared in this colour I've only had two pullets I was 99% happy with and unfortunately lost both of them to mareks, of all the colour varieties of poultry this has to be the hardest color by far to get right and is one of only two colours I'm still working on and will hopefully perfect in my lifetime,
It's good to have found a forum with people interested in all the orpington colours and if I can help in any way with colour projects anybody is working on I am more than happy to do so

Bob

I know I'm not alone when I say I absolutely love the birds that you all produce across the pond and I cannot wait to add more colors to my little homestead. It would be great to see some photos of your Orpingtons.

I'm having a hard time deciding whether or not I like the Mottled or Laced birds more. I really love the Mottled Orps, if I got them I would end up breeding them to my Blue line and eventually to the LF Chocolates that I'm working on to make Blue and Chocolate Mottled. But I'm also quite taken by the Splash Laced Golds, they're beautiful. I guess all this means is that I need more space to raise more colors!
