The IMPORTED ENGLISH Orpington Thread

OMG I almost flagged myself..jees those buttons are a little too close together.

hee hee, hes on a mission alright, my freind a peds nurse begged me to hatch her some white orps, she was having a hard time finding them..so I did..they are at her house now..she and her kids will be showing them later on..that little man is unbeleavably beautiful now..he knows hes good looking too..I went over to see him this last week..they love him and gave him some very elegant name that I cant remember..his beak is white and his legs are white which is so cool..the older he gets the whiter his legs and beak get..it was pinkish white when he was here..he has a pullet with him..but he is just great looking..and carrys himself that way..when i saw him , i wanted to bring him back home..we kept him here until USDA inspection so the kids could go show.his son wanted that shiney new legband.. they have to be 4 mos..so they got them and off they went.

heres a little later on pic..hes just a stunner now..I will try to get back over and get some current pics.his comb went throu some wobbly time but its super straight now.i think marc has them too. somone told me long time ago, the great ones have the look of eagles..he reminded me of that..Im so glad he is in a home that cherishes him.

What a stunner! I want to see him at 18 mos.!

you know Vicki, its going to be so much fun watching those kids show their birds jr division..they take so much pride in what they are doing..the phone rings every once in a while..this time it wasnt a question, it was come look at great my birdy looks..so neat how they beam over them..hes a lot bigger and looks very buff..they go through so many changes and i hadnt seen them in quite a while..the pullet was nice too i almost didnt recognise her she developed such a round underneath..very deep..

Ohhhhh Myyyyyyy Goooooooodness..... That Jubilee is absolutely amazing. I'm truly in love. Thank you so much for showing them on this thread and allowing a newbie like myself to drool as much as I do. I promise that next spring I'm on the list..... wow.

Love those buffs, but I'm jealous of the grass! Its been sooooo hot and dry here, and for so long. I have the sprinkler running constantly just to keep it from getting fried. We went for a drive yesterday and there are miles of pasture that are straw yellow. Its so sad. No second cutting this summer!
