Oh my! They are beautiful! Thank you for sharing those pictures. My first post on this forum, so I just wanted to say Prynhawn da from Wales (a small and beautiful country attached to England) and share some pics of my Welsh 'Imported English Orpingtons' I keep Orps in Partridge, Buff, Buff Columbian, Red, Black & (new this year) Gold laced.
So its now 4:20 and no idea where the chicks are. All they know is they left Jacksonville last night at 8:39. Eggs didn't hatch and now this. Guess we weren't meant to have Orps.I haven't told my daughter yet. She is at camp.![]()
You need to call the post office and ask them each place they would have stoped at, than ( really they should call) than call each place ask to talk to the manager or the head of the building. Do they have a number for the box they are in? Im so sorry...So its now 4:20 and no idea where the chicks are. All they know is they left Jacksonville last night at 8:39. You can call your distribution center?! Lucky!Sometimes the birds will get delayed because of dry ice on the flight. They don't want to deliver dead birds. They should be there in the morning.
Another thing that you can do is to find out where the distribution center is for your area. I always call them and let them know I am expecting birds and that I will come get them at any time day or night when they arrive. I bet your birds are at the distribution center waiting for the next truck to your post office in the morning.
