I seriously had a postal supervisor tell me that "individual packages aren't scanned, they just scan a barcode to say all the mail left the building."

This happened to me recently. You're really better off going with priority mail in most cases. I bet they will show up in the morning. Make sure you get a refund from the post office for the difference in the express and priority mail rate. You are entitled to it, but the shipper has to go to the PO to claim it.

I hope they were sending you day-olds. Older chicks don't always fare so well.

This happen to me too, they missroute and all the chicks is dead customer receved 2 day later than original date.
Anyway this weather to hot to send chicks , need to wait when go down to 80-85.Other way they die.

We have had issues of delay every time we send a carton via Jacksonville FL

I don't know if you can tell or not, it was hard to get a good picture with a contrasting enough background, but this black chick has some wing feathers sticking out like a frizzle. None of it's three hatch mates does??

This don't mean is frizzle , some of my La Breese do the some than strait back to normal.
Or you have frizzle orp,

My first post on this forum, so I just wanted to say Prynhawn da from Wales (a small and beautiful country attached to England) and share some pics of my Welsh 'Imported English Orpingtons' I keep Orps in Partridge, Buff, Buff Columbian, Red, Black & (new this year) Gold laced.

Nice Quality birds, Partridge and buff nice skirts Love them.

I hatch out couple partridge , now i wan't to breed her with the LF Choc roo,any idea what i can get out?
