The IMPORTED ENGLISH Orpington Thread

Anyone have the Gold Laced Orps imported by Greenfire? I confess - I've been drooling over them. Trying to decide if I should get them or not. I'm concerned with all the fluff, fertility might be an issue for breeding?

Hi there, I have the Gold Laced from GreenFire and also from Orpingtons Galore in the UK. You can see them here : http://rockin-g-ranch.com/goldlacedorpington.html

I checked out your site but didnt run across a location. Im in north east KY right on the OH and WV tristate Border. Im thinking I might like the Jubilees better. R they a bigger bird? I dont want them to lokk dwarfed by my blues and blacks.

I am in northern Ohio (Sandusky - Cedar Point area?) but travel to PA often and have a grand daughter in WV. We could probably work out a meeting area. PM me if you would like to work out any details.

Some trim, some pluck. Problem if you trim, can't show them. If you pluck, they grow right back often. Breeders of other breeds have assured me that REAL breeders pluck! hehe. You do have to do just one at a time though, or you'll tear the skin. Ask me how i know.
