The IMPORTED ENGLISH Orpington Thread

Dee that is a georgous GL. Very nice lacing.
Irene i am looking forward to seeing your buffs ;and jubilees when they start hatching. Please post some more pics of your buffs.
Thank you Dragonlady. I would love to have more colors but don't have the time or space or money for more than what I am doing right now. I will have to settle for looking at everyone elses pretty Orps in the colors I admire.
Here are 9 of Monty's ( English Buff Orp From Marc Sacre ) chicks at 1 day old out of SOP hens. One kept hiding, but it's there! I am so pleased with the size and umph of these chicks! Monty's little brother, Max, made it here on Tuesday too. More thanks to Marc!

Mrs. Pumphry's chicks also by Monty are due over the next three weeks. I can't wait to hatch those pure English Os!

Very pretty chicks. Look forward to watching them progress. So glad you were able to get another male. I am so sorry your other buffs went missing. I just thought they had chicken theifs in UK. This is the first time I have ever heard of anyone in the states having this happen except at a show.
Keep up the good work everyone.

This cockerel is sooo funny, I had to share. We call him "The Rock" because if he smells the girls around he brings his chest out and pumps his pecs (like the movie star "The Rock" and does his "I'm Too Sexy Walk". If I could figure out how to share a video of him, I would. He is a true Hollywood wanna be. When he's just with his brothers, he's just plain 'ole goofy. If I've had the girls out prior and he smells them...this is what happens. All 12 + 1 are thriving, eating me out of house and home, and are going into size 16 spiral leg bands next week (when they arrive). They are 15 weeks old!

Bama as soon as things slow up a bit around here.... I will try to get a few more pics.... My EO Buff ladies are truly blossoming... I have big bags of apples sitting on my kitchen floor... just waiting for me to make pies ... tomatoes all over the kitchen waiting to go in the freezer... meanwhile there are chores to be done .. animals to be fed... the kennel needs a good scrubbin.. incubator is cookin.... have birds waiting to be shipped out.... always something to do around here. lol

Tell me about it Sista. Sounds like me. I did see a good applesause recipe on Pntrest and pinned it. Do you have a apple corer peeler slicer?. Those things are amazing and make things go fast.
Just post pics when you can.

Mr Darcy is a beautiful fella.

Here is boo boo the bear, and he is a bear..he looks like a turkey from above. they all just saw a redtail hawk flying above and ran to the barn. we had just had a hail storm..it was melting everywhere..it was warm enough that it melted quick

Very nice Lynne. His lacing is coming in. What a pretty boy.

Quote: I hope this little guy has found a home. He's adorable. I KNOW how hard it is when you have boys and worry about where they might end up. Best wishes.
