Right, I figured as much. Outcrossing to Gold Laced will produce Blue Laced Golds, breed them together and you'll get more Splash Laced Golds. I believe Mark is referring to them as White Laced Golds.

Either way outcrossing to GL will greatly improve the lacing. Yes you'll have to then wait another generation to get more Splash Laced birds but you can cull for the best Blue laced birds in order to produce even better Splash Laced birds in the next generation.

It's a very tempting project indeed... LOL. I wish I had more space!

With all these outcrossing posibilities, everyone please remember that I need to find homes for many of my boys. A few already are spoken for, but....

OMG too tempting. What beautiful birds. If I hadnt just got Sir Edmond, my Jubilee roo that I still gotta find hens for, I would be very tempted in provideing a home for one of your roos. Sir Edmond follows me around and eats outta my hands now and is an awesome pet.

One boy's headed your way. I'll send you the photo lineup from which you can choose- in Oct. Perhaps they will have grown into their feet by then and have decided to grow tails

Right now they're just getting very wide and won't stop eating.

They do seem to take forever to get grown, but when they are fully mature they are just magnificent! I've sent you a PM, BTW.

I'd love to see photos of them all!

The coop is already there... it's just the numbers of other birds that need to go down birds before taking on a different project...

I could probably live without my Sumatras, if I could have another color of Orp... yeah... poor Sumatras! LOL.
