This little yellow chick hatched a few days ago. It is different from the other five whites that hatched in that it has markings. Is this part of the auto-sexing maybe and if so, boy or girl?

Thanks! Actually reading back through the posts is kind of scary.....I am taking what I have and running with them....My husband and I have been in love with this breed way before they were available here. We could not afford to import them....I have what I have and I am thrilled with them. We are not interested in breeding them and making even a dime, but we will have our own backyard flock....That is good enough for me...I am very pleased with my guys!

Mary,

Mine (from your eggs) were marked and it looked pretty obvious to me that they were a male and a female. They are now both snow white and the female has quite a good crest going. I'll try to get a picture in the next day or two (going to Tahoe for the night tomorrow).
