The folk (like several on this thread), who pay attention to breeding good traits become known, produce A+ birds, and can better maintain their egg prices.
 
Unbelievable. My 2 original hens haven't laid in almost 2 months but one started up again a few weeks ago. I have 3 new girls in the pen now and at least 2 are laying. So I thought my chance of white chicks would go down. Well, I put 6 eggs into lockdown and today is day 21. 4 have hatched so far and 2 are whites. What happened to that rare chance of getting whites? Someone didn't tell my girl this.
 
Jason, we might have to do a little egg swap and find out
