Thank you! Unfortunately she met her death at the feet of an owl. By far she has been the most beautiful chicken I have owned. The owls, hawks and ferral cats have wreeked havoc on my flock this Spring.

Hi all. I'm looking for some help with identification of my CL chicks and figured this would be a good place to ask.

I received a shipment of Cream Legbars and Welsummer chicks and I have no way of telling them apart except for the little rooster. If I post photos, could anyone try to figure out which is which?


Help is appreciated since the Welsummers are supposed to go to someone else!! eeek

I would definitely post them if I were you! How old are they now? I have raised a few Wellies and am in process of two pullet Cream Legbars so I no expert but you never know. If you have an extreme closeup of their combs preferably at under a week of age, that would be outstanding.

Okay here goes. There are 3 CLs (1 roo and 2 hens) all hatched 5/20 and 5 Welsummers which supposedly hatched 5/11. I know which is the roo but I included a photo of him. I think I know which is one of the Welsummers.
