Totally lol. He cleans food off their toes, let's them huddle around him at night, and tolerates the running/sitting under him as he saunters around the brooder. He even pushed one of the bigger girls out of the way so that a smaller shyer silkie could get to the food yesterday. Hoping he'll grow up to be one of those unusual good daddy Roos.

Congrats to everyone on all the babies! Keep the pics coming please! Is this officially the start to hatching season?

So sad to lose a pullet whether hatched out or not... Congratulations to all on the successful hatches. I think the season is upon us!

Major happy dance today! I hatched 13 legbar chicks. 8 girls and 5 boys. Wahoo! I will post some pictures tomorrow.
