Thanks! I'm guessing three CL in middle, plus EE on end? Did I get this right?
I have finished my photo comparison of my cream legbar cockerels. There are four cockerels in the comparison. One was jet black, one a dark charcoal, one a mix of tan/brown/gray, and one is blond.A lot of you have already seen the down color differences from my cockerels. They were so different when I started that I too want to see how they grew out. I need to get some more side-by-side photos of the grown cockerels, but will put something together in the next couple of days to post.
The Charcoal and blond chick were hatched at Greenfire farm. The other two were hatched by Samantha Kellermen at Altavista Farm in Driftwood, TX. She hatched 7 cockerels and 1 pullet from 18 eggs on that hatch (ouch!). When my wife called her about getting some of the extra cockerels and told her what we were working on she said she would save us the lightest and the darkest color cockerel from the hatch. Thanks Samatha for making this study possible.
GaryDean could you double check that link? I can't get it to work. I know I can go to my yahoo groups and see it that way but other people might not know how to get to it.

I refreshed the link. From past experience I know that the files on the site where these are stored are moved around a lot. I will check this for the next couple of days and refresh the link as necessary so that everyone who is interested can see this.X2 I couldn't see the pics either.
Yes, I noticed a few things and was hoping others would too (even though I know that is really hard to do from photos). Thanks for posting all of those photos. It does not seem that there is a discernible link between down color and adult coloration from what I could see. I realize the sample size s small here, but are there any patterns you think have emerged?
I can't wait to see what the other two cockerels produce. I will be doing a lot of Cream Legbar hatches this fall.

Question: Is there anyway to store or attach files on the BYC. I have tried to attach a file to the body of a reply on the threads as well as attached file through PM but always get error messages saying my setting don't allow this. If there is a way I can put files on the BYC is will. If not, I will continue to store Cream Legbar files in other locations.
