Donna put me down for two camels, 3 ostrich's & 1 jackass. LOL Meant to tell you thanks for the BLRW, she fit right in & appears to have taken the spot of top hen. I also think the layers are the leghorns. The eggs are getting a little bigger. I'm also pretty sure one of the silkies is a Roo, he's quiet though so might get to stay. How's the Blue Roo looking since you got him home? I would have posted earlier but my phone died & I just got a new one. :)

well saw the camel don't know what he sold for. ponies for $50. bearded dragons for $20. I don't think anything sold high.

Not sure I have any silkies roos except a white from Lori. I know my partridge are pullets the buff is too. next time I want silkies I will get them at auction. most sold for 4-6 form birds about 4-5 months old. geese sold for 10-20. ducks for 3-4 each. seemed really cheap to me.

Ok so this is my first try /img/smilies/fl.gif  these are the eggs all EE

DMRippy-did you see what the mountain quail went for? I had to leave early and missed them, I would have loved to have had them. They had some very nice Buttercups I wanted also.

all the quail was cheap like a dollar each. one lady pulled all her quail. they were in a triangle type cage.

I think the butternut were really cheap too. but I don't remember the number. I do know they finally sold them as one cage and put them together. I would not think more than 10 each.

did you ever meet up with becky? she wanted me to get the eggs and hatch them and my phone died so didn't get to call her back.

Well, in a matter of weeks I went from 6 pullets to 11 pullets and a roo. Chickens are addicting lol

in less than one year I went from 5 to 50 and now in my 3rd year had as many as 600 (400 chick). not going to repeat that. lol

finally I feel like I can breath again

Hey guys I am looking for a chicken breed that often goes broody,I really like buff orpingtons but I know there's other breeds to.Please PM me if you do!I live in the Arrington/triune area. Thanks!

I have a copper blue maran who's eggs we love but she is ALWAYS broody and I understand this is normal for the breed so you might check into those.

had a little excitement at the farm today. I didn't get to collect eggs yesterday so today I found a snake eating all my barred rock eggs. he was quite full too.

and excitement in another way.....found my first ISABELLE Marans eggs....not great color on the eggs but I can fix that if needed. YEAH LAVENDERS SOON TO COME. just need to move the other roos... I need a roo pen.
