The Middle Tennessee Thread

Anybody know what this bird is? It has something wrong with it and has been sitting in the front yard all day. We have no idea how to take care of it but thought somebody out there may want to take it on or help with some advice before the neighborhood cats get it. It gets frisky when you touch it but falls right back asleep.

I have never seen anything like it.....
@DMRippy my lavs came from Shaffer but a white Am sounds cool!!
 
I know he is Shaffer......he is also carting recessive white: ) I am breeding for some whites. I like them too.

be very careful about that bird it could get your birds sick.
 
RedPulletMama- I'm so sorry to hear about your baby. Is it one of the wellies? And is it that EE roo? They aren't usually aggressive.
I once had a yhoung roo get pe ked down to the skull. He was cornered and they pecked a hole about the size of a quarter off of his head. I moved him inside and would clean his head with warm water daily and add a layer of neosporin. It took a while, but it eventually grew back together.
