Can you post some pics of your blue and splash Silkie cockerels? Would you maybe be interested in trading one for some blue chicks? Or maybe a smooth Sizzle pullet?

Anybody ever used this for wire floors on cages? I saw it a long time ago at the hardware store and it is coming back to me as an option for wire floors. Hardware cloth is too small and chicken wire does not hold up at all. Suggestions are welcome

A couple of my brooders have wire floors. I use them for chicks that no longer require a heat lamp, so I don't have little feet running around on them. I do still cover the wire with a good layer of hay though. My rabbit hutch too. I don't like the idea of them always being on wire, but it is super easy to keep clean!

I have this guy on golsn.com, but I figured I'd put him here too. I'm selling my Sizzle cockerel. $20 takes him home. Breed him to Silkie hens and you'll get frizzled Sizzles, smooth Sizzles, Silkies and frizzled Silkies! He's about 7 months old, already breeding and has given me some lovely chicks already! I've kept back a few frizzled Sizzle and frizzled Silkie pullets, so he has to go. I'm located in Jamestown.
