Yuck. But I can stop by if you need help after 3:30.

Funny thing is Anne I did the same thing yesterday and I don't have near the mess what did ya use a shot gun? haha I just pick the thing up by the tail and pitched him over into the field. I thought about letting the chickens eat it but eewww. I reset the trap but nothing yet. I would come do the deed for you but we move into the new house today. I spent all day loading the van yestreday and today we go to the new house and unload everything. My back, legs and arms are absoutly killing me I have no idea how I will ever get this stuff moved in. We could always switch places for the day.

So the score is
Tish 1
Anne 1
Chicken killers 0

I have you on my list of Mille lovers..the list is long.I'm going to hatch a few more straight Mille then we will be going to splits so the mille can get better. My mottled are all winning show birds so I need that type put into the mille.

Electric wire...works easier than peeling a mangled coon out of netting. They won't cross it so they won't get in the runs or the coops.Lets the chicken and the critters all live peacefully.Out here we have so many options for chicken eating..coon possum coyote bob cat neighbors dogs you name it without electric we would be trapping every day killing off a bunch of wild life that is only doing what they do. You need to run it near the ground and over the top so if anything gets past the ground wire it will get hit before it goes over the top.We have only had 3 losses ever to break ins and every one was our fault.

matlock-as contractors I can tell you it's not just metal that is seeing the increase. If anyone is putting off any building projects to save money it's not going to work..or do as we do and use all recycled!I had $150 in my 8x16 house until I insulated it...most is the electric.I have 10 plugs and 2 lights in there.
