So we started moving our things into the garage of the new house before closing because my we are very pressed for time with my hubby going back to Iraq. We were set to close toady at 9 am. Well yesterday while I was taking yet another load to the house, the bank calls and says we can not close for 1 week, because someone there did not do their job and my file set on someones desk for a week without anything being done to it. WTH! My husband leaves for Iraq on Monday. We deal with a military bank and have always had a great experience with them and they have always understood about my hubby being gone, but this is enought to make me think twice about them in the future. It looks like someone there would do something. I wanted him to at least be able to spend one night in the new house before leaving. Oh and help me put the big things in place. I am so bummed! We have waited a very long time to buy a house for our personal use and I have dreamed of this day for a long time now I am wishing the experience was better (like in my dreams) not the nightmare it has turned into. I do not reccommend Diana Brooks as a real estate agent nor USAA BANK as a lender. We have the money for the down payment with the lender already, we have excelent credit, we have had a long releationship with the lending bank (yet thye give priority to new clients) how could they have messed this up. You know what my processor said to me.................
"Well when the interest rates dropped we got over loaded with files and yours must have gotten pushed aside." New clients over clients who have multiple accounts and have been with you for 15 years. It is just wrong to give priority to new clients over exisiting clients whom up in till now have had a great releationship with you, and trusted you with several accounts, auto loan and insurance, and home insurance. I will be looking into swithcing everything over to a different bank at my earliest convience.
Please ignore the spelling I am on a rant this morning. Sleeping on the floor is not good for me.
On a better note I am sending in my entry for Indy this morning. Yay Only taking 4 becasue I am just to busy to take anything else. I really hope to kick butt with the Showgirls and am looking forward to having some real competiton with them.
