Well, Now knowng you have to send money and they proccess it then tell you whenever they can ship, and that they dont sex chicks, or post pcs of anythng.
Kind of scares me..

Donna, the number in ( ) is the most of that breed you can get in a single order. We have to have a min. order of 25,or 50. The only bad part is you have to send money and order by mail and then they will tell you when it can ship. So I would like to get an order together as soon as we can so we have the best chance to get them early instead of having to wait all summer. If Okla, Country, you, me, and Nickolas all order together we will probaly get 50. Shipping is $15.00 for 25 and 19.00 for 50. So split up that is nothing, I really hate it when shipping bumps up the cost so much, thats why spliting helps so much. So every body have a look and let me know!

I am going to call them tomorrow and get a better feel. I would think they would not cash the check until ship time. They have ship dates listed and you put which you prefer. They just wont book your order until payment is received then it depends on what is in your order as to which dates they can ship on. I understand the money up front part as I have had problems with a customer wanting things with out a payment then you never hear from them again. Sandhill has a pretty good reputation so I am going to order. If you do decide you want to too just let me know.

I want some SLW or GLW! I don't want to breed them - just want one or two for my layer flock because they're so pretty. I had a beautiful GLW that I hatched - but it turned out to be a roo - so I sold him.

I just got the sandhill catalog and they cash the check as soon as they write the order down and send the confirmation letter..they have nice birds but for backyard layers I would go with a hatchery where you can get them sexed..them darn roos do a horrible job laying eggs

I had a bunch of slw from Ideal about a year ago come in and they were nice for what they are
Now..for the stuff hatcheries don't sell Sandhill is pretty good.

I found some SLW eggs! Petty birds too.
