check it out... got my incubator cam going. Now I can keep tabs on it while I'm at work. Not that I can correct it from 40 miles away, but I'll at least be able to watch them hatch cause they'll be due on a Wednesday.

Did everybody weather the storms okay last night? I finally turned the weather radio off at 2am and decided I would rather die in my sleep than be woken up every 20 minutes by the stupid alarm.

LOL! My husband called that night from SC about the weather - which I knew nothing about. I told him I'd either be OK or die and there wasn't anything he could do about it from where he was. I can conjure up my own anxiety, thank you very much, and don't need to take on someone else's. But I did end up packing some clothes and valuables and slept in the basement just to be safe. Last night I watched a TV show I had DVRed during the storm. Yikes! Continuous interruptions with tornado warnings. Thank goodness for closed captioning.

Reminds me of our first hatch, lo, these many years ago. My daughter got home from work before me. She was eating in the kitchen and heard strange noises. She finally investigated the incubator. I receive a frantic phone message: "Mother! Come home now. You have birds!"

A cam would have been nice but a message from my non-bird-loving daughter worked just as well.

I really gotta say I just loved being at work and watching my eggs here at the house. My kids love it too. They are keeping tabs on them while they are at Granny's house waiting on us in the evenings. Gonna be a long couple weeks though watching them set there all day. I guess it's really no different that being here all day though, I just click a window up to glance at them every 15 minutes instead of actually walking over there. I can't wait till the hatch though, It will be so much fun to share that with everyone.

I'm free to get together on Friday if that still works for you. Just say when and where (between 9 and 2 so I'm not putting kids on or getting them off the bus)....and let me know how much $$ to bring too. :) Thanks!!

I'll PM you with directions. No charge if you'll come get them. Happy to share. They will all be Easter eggers if that's okay. Some will come from a splash roo and some from a black roo, so there is no telling what you'll get. The only "rule" is that if you get something funky you have to post pictures.

Well I think the rule is IF you get CHICKS (funky or not) you have to post pictures

we just like babies in general. Especially for those that are abstaining (IDK how?) so their resistance is thinned with every picture.

Hahaha, will do! I need to figure out how to put some pictures up here too of my current batch of babies - who are growing like weeds it seems!
