Tin Fantastic news! Yep it sure sounds like a miracle to me.
Chad what a great (and cheap) brooder I will be stealing that! Now you just have to figure out a top so they don't fly out! Nice looking chicks too!
Cinny I am having problems too with my Goldens they are in a new coop, 2 will sleep inside but the other 3 want to sleep on the top edge of the run. My runs are netted so they are really squooshed up and don't look comfortable but there they are. Chickens are weird sometimes.

Carol and Becky....thanks for the tips. I'll try going in at night and putting them on the roosts that might do the trick. I'll be integrating 2 newbies in about 2 weeks so hopefully with 3 roosts for 7 chickens everyone will be happy.

Becky how many guinea do you think you want?

And i am thinking of buying a pallet (2000lbs) of tucker grower would anybody be interested? 14.79 a bag. It is 19% and made with pork. Better than soy. Let me know. Trying to switch feeeds. I think it is better for them.

Thank you to all that have PMd and emailed. I appreciate the understanding and sympathy about letting the flock go. It has mostly been travel for work that is the biggest reason for needing to cut back but also the fatigue is really bad. The MD feels it may be the lupus. I hope not.

I did not put where I am located in the previous post- sorry.... I live outside Lewisburg right off I65

The peahen and guineas have found a home. We are now looking to place the 5 welsummers, 17 silkies, and 10 Sebastopols. Also will be looking to rehome probably 5 or so OEGBs.

I have the silkies and sebastopols on CL if you would like to see them. I note on the ads that I will not split them up but I will probably have no choice in the end. Let me know if you want any and how many so when I get to that point...hopefully I can get them all gone quickly so I won't have to go outside and see the "holes" in my flock.

Donna,

I might be interested in some of the feed. I couldn't do more than 2 or 3 bags given what my 6 hens eat, though. I've been ordering soy-free feed from Azure Standard. I like it, but it is expensive!

Donna you have the receipt from the last feed buy we made what is their layer running? I need to price the 22% pellet from Sparta and then I will let you know. I'm not sure how many on the guineas yet. They have not hatched yet have they?

I only have a few Pearls and Lavenders. Most are Coral Blue. His original order was for 24, but he might get more. I want to keep some CB but not many.
