Carol I got a couple of pictures of the older chicks. Sadly there are only 3 now. I have no clue what happened but the other dark one was found dead the other morning, not a mark on it just dead. Very strange

SOOOO Cute I love them!

I am going to call the Tucker's Rep today if I get time. I have to make a brooder for all these keets

I think I am going to put a LID on them. TinTN how did you do that on your brooder just cut a whole in the top and cover with netting? If I can find some hinges I am going to make a door so I can get in without taking the top off to feed them.

I love Swedish Flower Hens - all the different colors and patterns. Sorry about the one dying. I've had that happen with chicks - and older chickens, too. No marks or other signs of what might have happened. I guess it's like all living creatures - sometimes there's a death with no visible reason. Thanks for sharing the photos. They sure are growing!

yep donna i ust took a skillsaw and cut a pretty basic square, hold the blade guard up and let the blade cut through the wood slowly. repeat 3 more time to cut the hole out. i put a piece up scrap wood on mine with a couple of screws to keep the piece i was cuting from falling inwhen i got close to the final cut. took 1/2 in. hardware cloth and stapled it to the inside.he top fit pretty good alread so i just put some hinges on it and a lock hasp and called it done. i later added a few small roost by drilling holes in the sides and running small branches through them.

Well, I definitely have to get rid of "Walter"......I thought after that awful experience at Triune flea market I'd just keep him, but he crows all day, not just in the morning....I cannot separate them so "Madge" will be going with him....I put them on Craigs List for $25 for the pair but will do better for anyone on BYC because I know you'd take such good care of them.
They are really sweet and affectionate.....

Connie! I was just wondering about you the other day. I miss you! I was just noticing that most of that original lunch group has gone away. It's sad. :(
How are you? Are you still in Murfreesboro?
