Hello! I wanted to jump on this forum and introduce myself. I live between Crossville and Kingston area. I have Seramas and would love to hear from any other Serama breeders. Hope to hear from you soon.

Country be careful spotlighting those coyotes at night, game warden may think you are deer hunting!
Sold the last of my pigeons. Going to build a coop and try and get some birds at the next Elkton sale.
Oh yeah, those wild rabbits are great fried and make great gravy!

has anyone here ever ordered from Meyer Hatchery? We are planning on ordering 25 pullets from their Production pack in February. And before we do I wanted to know if Meyers birds lay as well as they say?

Yes! Meyers are the best in my book. Great customer service, and good birdies. I had several Rhodies, leghorns, and barred rock from them. And red sex links. They all grew up nice, layed nice big brown eggs and the golden comets and leghorns layed every day. When I settle down somewhere in a few years where I can build me a good big layer coop. I will deffinately order from them again.

They work with you if something goes wrong, and add several extras

Sounds Great! I have heard they have wonderful customer service...We will definitely be ordering from them since I know they lay well....I have heard some hatchery strains do not lay as well as they should...good to know Meyers strains lay like they should...do you have any pics of your meyer birds? I would love to see them Thanks for your input
