he likes you a lot! he was friends with the preacher in GA for almost 20 years. hard for me to believe. seems like I have known Doug far longer. but when I think about it I only knew Doug for a year or 2 BEFORE he moved to GA. most of our relationship was long distance. he would call me from work (at&t hehe) and talk for hours late at night. he had nothing else to do. he did restoration for the WHOLE US....not good if he was busy.

did you have a good weekend? saw that sunset....it was pretty. I saw one similar from the store.

We had a great time, camped right on the lake did a little fishing & a few 12 ounce curls. Sunset was gorgeous.

Hey guys still all 15 of my red stars are still not laying. They free range and I feed them flock raiser once in a while,Does anyone know whats keeping them from laying?

The move may have thrown them off, it could also be the shorter days, might try artificial light in the coop.

Ok, I have been to Target, Wal-Mart, and Kroger and cannot find ACV with 'the mother' in it anywhere. Where do y'all get it at? The only place I've had any luck finding it was Amazon.com, but to avoid shipping cost I would really like to find it in store somewhere. Help me out...lol
Have you tried Nashville's farmers market, or maybe a whole foods or health food store. Regular acv is better than nothing in my opinion.

Just bought some at Walmart in Murfreesboro. They only had two bottles so you just have to watch for it. Ask someone what day they stock and go then. This one stocks on Monday nights or Tuesdays... I used to know for sure.
Also maybe trader joes?

Well I got them off of craigs list and right when they came to my house they all laid. They are about 7-8 months old.But they just stopped laying one day.I baked some egg shells and put it in my blender and it made a powder so I'm going to mix that in with some flock raiser tonight.
400

they are going to molt probably. layer must have calcium all the time. flock raiser does not have calcium.

There will be another poultry swap at Cannon Cty Fairgrounds in Woodbury on Saturday October 12 from 7am-1pm. Cost is $10 to sell. I went in the spring and thoroughly enjoyed myself and sold a good bit.

Thank you all for the info. I shop at the Murfreesboro Walmart, so I will try to go today or tomorrow and see if they have some. Never thought about the natural food section at Kroger, I only checked the regular aisles. I have never heard of Trader Joes nor do I go to Nashville (their traffic scares me!). Here's hoping I find some

I think you can make it. have you looked that up? I know once you get.some you can use reg vinegar to make more. just a thought.

Actually, you use apple cider (or juice if you can't get cider) - vinegar is a ferment, & the "mother" are the live wee beasties who turn the apple sugars into alcohol then vinegar which is part of why they rarely sell unpasturised/with the mother, b/c once you have it you can them make your own, provided of course you have apples or apple juice :)
