The Middle Tennessee Thread

Hello to all! Gentry kindly pointed me in this direction! I'm in central KY, and not having much luck finding English Orpingtons here.

I'm searching for some pullets in lemon cuckoo or super duper nice buff (english!), blue splash, and chocolate. There are a ton more colors that I love, but these are my starting point :-}

I currently have a few barnyard mixes, 4 Salmon Faverolles which I plan to raise and with lots of help...gulp...show in the fall. I'm acquiring some young cockerels from Papa's Poultry this weekend and really looking forward to finding beautiful mates for these boys! Pullets anyone??

If you will look at the bottom of her post, you will see "BREEDS I HAVE" and a Tennessee Breeders list links...those should help point you in the right direction of finding some beautiful chicks to admire!

I also need to mention that this thread is being monitored by the admins for several people openly discussing (advertising) birds for sale. Evidently, that's a big no-no on the thread, but can be communicated via Private Messaging or on the Buy-Sale-Trade section?

When you google "tape worm in egg", this is the first entry that comes up

Those look like new pin feathers which usually happen after moulting. I'm not seeing anything that looks like parasites.
