Holly did you look at you roos? If you don't have one, how bout some hatching eggs?? Maybe the first of the year? 6 ish????

Donna - my first pip was from one of the eggs I got from you! Three eggs have tiny little pips now - hoping for some chicks tomorrow! Two of them had pips at noon - and nothing else since then. Is that normal?

oops..yes I looked and I only have one roo out there..I thought I left a back up but I must have decided to let them all go.I will have hatching eggs in the Spring from them...they won't be laying the first of the year yet..or just starting..but will let you have some when they are

You need to come get some of these extra pullets hanging out here there's not many 5-6 or so but all 3-4 months maybe a few a bit older.RSL,White Leghorn,EE and possibly a BLRW or two.

I think you said they were due monday? they may all be out by then if pipping this early. I may take some longer but don't give up hope too early!

An hour ago we had tiny pips in four eggs. Then one suddenly started chirping and pipping - and here he (or she) is - our first hatchling - and very noisy one at that!

It's a RIR egg I got from Meyer. I hope all the chirping he's doing will encourage the others to get busy. He hatched on the 19th day! Although I guess it's so late in the day, it might technically be the 20th day already. I'm so excited!
