For less than $100.00 (charger is less than $30.00 at TSC) depending on length, ele. fencing makes better friends!! I would put it inside my fence line, leaving room on the other side to trim up to your fence--Caution: DO NOT ALLOW anyone to connect to your fence!! My husband uses 6 ft t-posts driven in 2 ft-(ours are welded horse fencing with hot-wire top and base. But for your app--you could use step-in posts and have it done tomorrow, use metal--they last longer and ground better. Oh, and for people next door that are clueless, include the sign for electric fencing to protect against any liabilities.
