Darn you guys!!!!!!!!!!!! I have resisted until now. Today will be the day! DS (14) is home sick again, he has been sick since Thursday. I think this cake might help, what do you think!?

Well, if that didn't work for you.........
I was bored last night and wanted to make another microwave cake, but was curious about how my cake mixes would do. I divided the mix roughly into thirds, only added a third of the water,oil, and eggs, and popped that into the microwave. It was awesome! Really tasted like cake that came from the oven instead of the micro, and it was even faster than the 5 min recipe. So give that a try and see if it works better for you.

Our microwave is an antique sharp from 1985/1986.. how can I tell how much power it has? all manuals are lost and DH can't remember either...

I thought it was yummy. i little different then baked cake, but definitely homemade. and we were virtuous and split it between DH and I... mainly because i was lazy and only had one cup clean!

But after tasting it, there is NO WAY I could eat a whole one, it is pretty sweet. I think that you could put less sugar in and it would be better. i will try it next time.

It was gross!!!! It may have been better with chocolate chips......... but mine didn't turn out to be any thing like yours... or the email did. I is quite repolsive.
